Program Evaluators PEV Information
PEV Application CSAB is continually seeking qualified individuals to serve as program evaluators. Interested individuals should first review the requirements for academic and industrial candidates from ACM and IEEE. Applicants in computer information systems may be members of AIS and should meet the other qualifications specified for ACM and IEEE. Newly selected program evaluators must participate in a one-and-a-half-day course conducted by ABET. Reasonable expenses for this event are fully paid by ABET. Accreditation visits usually take three or four days with one day falling on a weekend. Reasonable expenses for program evaluators on accreditation visits are fully reimbursable by ABET. Program evaluators are expected to serve for at least one three-year term and to be available to make at least one school visit each year.
