For PEV Candidates

CSAB is continually seeking qualified individuals to serve as program evaluators. Interested individuals should first review the requirements for academic and industrial candidates from ACM and IEEE-CS.

Application to Become a CSAB/ABET Program Evaluator

***Note: Applications are accepted through Dec. 31 of each year. Selection decisions are made in January, and notification of applicants occurs in February/March.***

Newly selected program evaluators must participate in a one-and-a-half-day course conducted by ABET. Accreditation visits usually take three or four days with one day falling on a weekend. Reasonable expenses for program evaluators on accreditation visits are fully reimbursable by ABET. Program evaluators are expected to serve for at least one three-year term and to be available to make at least one school visit each year.

To be considered for this worthwhile activity, kindly complete the application to be an ABET Program Evaluator for CSAB. CSAB applicants need only submit a resume not to exceed two pages, and are not required to provide references asked for in the ABET application.
